How my blog was created:

Last April my husband and I became expats when we moved to Toulouse, France from San Francisco, California.  I love to eat, I love to travel, I love to drink, and I like to write and (sometimes) take photos.  However, it wasn’t until we were preparing for the move that a number of friends said, “Victoria, you should start a blog.  You can blog about all the places you go and we can follow along vicariously.”  It wasn’t until we had officially moved that I decided to start my own blog and document our life in France.  Eh voilà!

Advice for new bloggers:

I’m honestly not sure what sort of advice I would give to a new blogger, as I feel like I’m so new to the game.  Maybe just find a topic that speaks to you and really write with your own voice.
