The 143rd Kentucky Derby

The track might’ve been wet, but the first Saturday in May didn’t disappoint with sunny skies, mint juleps, and great family/friends.

A 25 kilometer bike ride through the most gorgeous tulip fields…maybe one of the most memorable experiences of any of my European travels…

An incredibly charming city with gorgeous views down every canal.

It’ll take you two days, but it’s so good, you won’t mind the time.

Day full of history visiting Point du Hoc, Omaha Beach, and the American Cemetery.

This will be my “signature” dessert by the time we leave Toulouse.

The perfect spot to unwind and indulge in Northern French culture.

We never could’ve imagined the gardens were this big or this colorful.

While VERY touristy, I have to admit this is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been.

Spent 9 hours of my Saturday learning how to make some tasty treats from pros!

It’s not the prettiest soufflé I’ve ever seen, but it still tasted great.
